We are really pleased to be in conversation with Grace Ndiritu, a British-Kenyan artist whose artworks are concerned with the transformation of our contemporary world. Her archive of over forty 'hand-crafted' videos; experimental photography, shamanic performances have been widely exhibited.

Before the talk, which will be streamed online and in g39’s cinema, we will be screening Grace’s film, Black Beauty: For A Shamanic Cinema at 17.30.

The film is the directorial debut by visual artist Grace Ndiritu.​ ​African fashion model Alexandra Cartier meets Jorge Luis Borges in a visionary hallucination. What does the famous Argentine modernist writer have to say about our contemporary ecological and pandemic problems?
