Under The Influence
To Download a press quality image click here to login or registerMegan Broadmeadow researches traditional customs and folklore and fuses these with their contemporary equivalent, with the intent of re-examining the position and relevance of these traditions in today's society. The resulting fabricated mythologies are bright, fantastical and sometimes macabre, a hybridisation of theatre, carnival and nightclub cultures. They take the form of installations featuring video, sculpture and performance.
