Intermission*

Viewed from the street day or night, intermission* was a retrospective video display of the last five years’ activity at g39 showing images from some of the 150 artists that have shown here.


Since 1998, g39 has raised the profile of contemporary art in Wales by providing invaluable opportunities to emerging artists as a showing space, a community resource and a training provider.

Through 25 exhibitions at the gallery and several g39 offsite projects we have become an essential catalyst in the contemporary art scene in Wales. intermission* pays testament to this effort and takes place at a time of strategic planning for the organisation.
