Nicolaas van de Lande, Gloryhole #2, 2019.
Nicolaas van de Lande is an artist working with installation, sculpture and photography. His installations are composed of sculptures and found objects which gesture towards the ontological idea that everything is plastic – meaning that unchangeable forms do not exist.
Nicolaas studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Art Academy, NL (2016) and did an MA in contemporary art practice at the Royal College of Art, UK (2019). Solo exhibitions include Sleazy Decorations: Party Time in Croyden, Croyden Arts Store (2018) and Breehornstraat 113, solo show, self-initiated project in a social housing complex, Amsterdam (2016/17).
