Description: A booklet to company Ian Whittlesea show at the Marlborough Contemporary art gallery in London on the subject of becoming invisible. The booklet was to accompany a video, a series of paintings and photographs. The work is meant to engage with the inherent mysticism of conceptual and minimal art. Alongside them is a quotation from the writings of the alchemist and scientist Sir Isaac Newton. a painting of the number seven (a number that is of special significance for the invisibility ritual) and silhouettes of a figure- the artists himself - demonstrating the correct posture for the exercises.
