Description: UTK is a group four four artists, Liz Hall, Tony Kemplen, Jane Mellor and Judith Stewart, whose work collectively attempts to redefine notions of public art by making their working practices explicit. The intention is to produce work for public spaces which is part of the studio practice rather than something which is separate. Thus works are made which respond to particular places and people - often in a very short space of time.
