Description: In 1998 Cardiff Bay Arts trust (CBAT) invited Mac Adams to exhibit in Wales for the first time in 20 years. The resultant exhibition The Silence of Shadows, was a success and was extended due to its popularity. In the same year CBAT commissioned Mac to realise his proposal for the Belvedere Solar Pavillion, now permanently installed at the Plymouth Park Belvedere, Penarth Haven, Cardiff. CBAT`s collaboration with the artist continues with the tour of the exhibition, a new project for the Wales Millenium Centre and the production of this book. The Silence of Shadows is a touring exhibition originated by Cardiff bay Arts Trust, initiated and curated by Carole-Anne Davies in collaboration with Mac Adams.
