Subject: street art, site-specific, Lulu Allison, Public art,
Description: Lulu Allison lives in Brighton and exhibits nationally and overseas. Whilst her work is related to street art, she uses the term feral to describe it. Using found paper from books and newsprint, site-specific collages are made in response to the environment of interior and exterior walls, sprayed graffiti, spiller paint, decay, and the slowly changing forms of plants. The work in this book is from both exhibitions and the wider environment.

She uses a simple technique and a poor, waste material to create temporary, site-specific work that sometimes lasts no more that a few moments of hours. Embellishment is a way of adding value, allowed by its presence in a gallery and the willingness of passers by not to rip it up before the weather does.
