Description: Charles Bryd, now in his early seventies has worked as a full-time artist in Cardiff for almost forty years. He was self-taught, and since 1966 he has concentrated all his energies on producing a cumulative array of kinetic constructions, made of brightly painted wood and adapted cheap or scrap materials (`found objects`, if you like).
