Description: The St. Peter`s Riverside Sculpture Project consists of a long term artist in residence scheme for public access areas of Tyne and Wear Development Corporation`s multi million pound regeneration of Sunderland`s riverside around St. Peter`s Church.

The aim of the project is not only to produce artworks which will relate directly to their environment and give a sense of identity, but also to seek opportunities for involvement from local groups who use the area, and to promote a sense of ownership for the site.
