A Contemporary Artspace in the heart of Cardiff

September will see the arrival of g39's Professional Development Programme. The programme, intended to support emerging artist throughout Wales will, amongst other things include three main strands to its programming: Peer-to-Peer, Group Mentoring Programme, and a dedicated Artist Resource Area (housed at the gallery)

The programme will begin with a series of touring peer-to-peer sessions, starting in late July. These are informal one to one sessions for emerging artists to discuss their work (old, new and in progress) with the g39 team. These half hourly meetings are invaluable for g39 to gain a broad view of differing creative practices across Wales and in offering advice on professional practice.

Peer to Peer on tour will take place over July and August at Swansea, Cardigan, Llandudno and Newtown (dates and locations to be confirmed). Sessions will also be held regularly at the gallery in Cardiff.
