Hannah Morris

b. 1990, Stockport, UK
Lives and works in Cardiff, Wales

Embracing techniques of collage, printmaking and drawing, Hannah produces a ‘visual diary’ full of contemplation.

The visuals within her work are subjective as to whether the artist’s own memories are being manifested, or if she is motivating the audience to reflect on their own memories. Due to her curatorial experience, Hannah implements collaboration and discussion with an array of artists and mediums to create dynamic and multi-faceted artwork. Sometimes she exhibits work on a larger scale, such as on walls using markers – or even spray paint.

Hannah has exhibited her work nationally. Recent exhibitions include: Trails/Olion, Oriel Mwldan, Cardigan (this was also featured in 9 YHA sites across England and Wales 2016-17), Submersion/Ymdrochi, Arcade Cardiff, (2015) and An Overheard Map of Now, The Abacus, Cardiff (2015). Group exhibitons include Winter Art Wall, Cardiff M.A.D.E (2017-18), Winter Exhibition, Oriel Q, Narbeth (2017) and Floribunda, Cardiff M.A.D.E (2016). She was Exhibitions Officer at Arcade Cardiff from 2014-18.
